UNIDA Gontor – On Saturday, October 4, 2024, the Directorate of Language Development (DPB) at UNIDA Gontor held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) aimed at evaluating and socializing the syllabus for the upcoming even semester language programs. The event, which took place in the Multimedia Hall of UNIDA Gontor, was attended by the Director of DPB, Al-Ustadz Ahmad Saifullah, Ph.D., Deputy Director Al-Ustadz Dr. Muhammad Ismail, M.Pd.I., and the entire team of UNIDA Gontor’s language tutors.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Ahmad Saifullah emphasized the strategic role of Arabic and English language acquisition in the university’s pursuit of world-class status. He highlighted the DPB’s commitment to delivering a robust language program that supports this vision and invited tutors to provide feedback on ways to innovate, develop, and improve the language classes for greater engagement and effectiveness among students.
The FGD featured a presentation on the newly developed syllabus for even semester language classes. This presentation was led by Al-Ustadz Alfy Mamduh Nuruddin, M.Pd., Head of the Arabic Language Learning Division, and Al-Ustadzah Eka Indah, M.Pd., Head of the Arabic Language Learning Branch.
Concluding with a prayer led by Al-Ustadz Muhammad Syamsul Arifin, M.Pd., the event closed on a high note, with attendees gathering for a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
