The academic community at UNIDA Gontor is required to communicate in both Arabic and English in both academic and non-academic settings. Arabic is also a mandatory subject for all students across all faculties and programs of study.

In light of this, the Directorate of Language Development (DPB UNIDA Gontor) organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) for English instructors at UNIDA. This event was held at the Multimedia Hall on the third floor of the integrated building and lasted for one day, Tuesday, 24 October 2024. A total of 30 English instructors participated in the training.

The program aimed to develop competent English instructors in collaboration with ELTI Gramedia. The event was opened by Al-Ustadz Ahmad Saifullah, Ph.D., Director of the Directorate of Language Development (DPB UNIDA Gontor). In his opening remarks, he emphasized that the ToT served as a platform for UNIDA Gontor’s English instructors to share insights and discuss teaching materials. Furthermore, the event was designed to enhance the quality of teaching, thereby improving the English proficiency of UNIDA students.
